~College Night/Try Outs
Thanks to everyone that participated in College Night.  It's really too bad that we didn't see coaches, players and families from the U14 - U19 teams as we had a VERY impressive panel that spoke at the event.  They provided very important information to players and their parents about what they should be doing NOW to help them make their way to college.  We really need you coaches to do a better job promoting our events and letting the players and families know what is happening.

Tryouts started today.  Please make sure your kids and their parents know about this and get the players out to this event.  It is very important.  In addition to the tryouts on the attached flyer, please note tryouts for the following team:
Wild Parrots, a new girls Mission Club travel team, will be holding
tryouts for Fall U15 season in the Coast League:

~CCSL Spring
Rosters are now past due.  We did not get rosters from MANY of the teams.  If you did not turn yours in, you MUST turn it in TODAY....We really need you coaches to do a better job meeting the deadlines that we provide.  We are here to help with any questions, so please...get your paperwork in!

Que sean nacidos en USA ano 98, 97, 96 incluso algun 99 mandame sus nombres la pocision  que juegan y sus e mails o si quieres que te manden la informacion a ti  la Federacion y tu les avisas no hay problema. La proxima session va hacer en  Marzo  17, 2011 en Dublin Ca. el lugar se llama Fallon Sports Park , en Dublin Ca. la primer cesion para los 98-99  empieza a las   5:00 p.m. y termina a las 7:00 p.m. la segunda  cesion para los 96-97 empieza a las 7:00 p.m. y termina a las 9:00 p.m. cada grupo de edades tiene que estar 30 minutos antes de comenzar la cession. Este programa es para selecciones de USA asegurate que los jugadores tengan el nivel especialmente en lo tecnico no importa el tamano.  

This is a great opportunity for your kids and players.  The US Soccer Federation is looking for "that" player that "has soccer in them".  They are looking for 99s, 98s, 97s, and even 96s.  If you know or have this player, send them out to this event on March 17, 2011 in Dublin CA at Fallen Sports Park, 5-7pm for 99 and 98 boys and girls, 7-9pm for 97 and 96 boys and girls.  Please be there 30 minutes early.  Call Hugo Perez for more information 312-929-6341.  This is a fantastic opportunity for kids that otherwise may not get ever get a chance to play at the highest level.

~Scrimmages/Friendlies/Non-League Play
If you are planning any scrimmages, friendly practice matches, or any non-league play, you MUST fill out a form on the District 1 web site AND you must arrange at least one certified referree for the match.  If you do not do this, your team is not insured.  The link for the form on the D1 site follows.  You may need to copy and past this link into your browser for it to work.  Please note that there was a mistake in the link information the last time that I sent it, so make sure you use this link!!!!!

~Coaches needed for Spring

We are looking for coaches for the following teams that will be playing in SSF.  Please let Mr. Guzman know right away if you are interested.

U10 & U11 Boys Combined - 17
U9 & U10 Girls - 15

~Players Needed
Chivas 4KG U-16 team is in need of players for the coming tournament and also for the league. We need a goalie and a couple of field players. We practice Tuesdays and Thursdays at Crocker Amazon, field 4-A. Hours: 5:15 to 6:30.

~Association Cup
Rosters for U16-U19 Association Cup are frozen.  No more adds, drops, transfers or guests are permitted.  This is a CYSA imposed deadline, so there will be no exceptions for teams that didn't get their paperwork in on time.

~State Cup and President's Cup
State Cup and Presidents Cup roster freeze dates are coming quickly.  All paperwork must be received by the MYSL Office before the dates listed below: 

State Cup U14-U15 Boys, U16-19 Girls:  Tuesday, March 1 
Presidents Cup U14-15 Boys, U16 Girls:  Tuesday, March 1

State Cup U14-15 Girls, U16-19 Boys:   Tuesday, March 8
Presidents Cup U14-15 Girls, U16 Boys:  Tuesday, March 8

These will allow us to get the paperwork to our District Registrar in time for her to meet her deadlines that are imposed by CYSA, so there will be no exceptions for teams that don’t have their paperwork in on time.

2011/2012 Registration Packets will be available to pick up at the MYSL Office beginning March 4.

~San Francisco Cup
Please remember to register for the San Francisco Cup.  The early bird deadline is approaching.  Please come out and represent!
